Employment of Fresh Graduates in the Food Industries مشروع تدريب وتوظيف الخريجين الجدد في التصنيع الغذائي

This project implemented in cooperation with the International youth foundation, and funding from USAID, which targets University graduates from different streams, related to the field of food industry. 120 graduates were selected from three different Universities (An-Najah, Al-Quds, and Hebron Universities) with specialties in Industrial Engineering, Food Processing, and Chemical Engineering. In order to target these graduates, project staff conducted meetings with the deans of each targeted departments in each targeted University. The meetings discussed the aim, and phases of the project, and how graduates can apply for the program. After that, the Dean’s offices of the targeted universities posted a flyer in the departments describing the project and how to apply.  The interested graduates were asked to send their CV’s, a copy of their ID’s, and contact information to PFIU.
After receiving the interested graduates CV’s, PFIU staff reviewed the CV’s and selected the desired graduates. PFIU was able to prepare three lists of graduates (30 in each list).
Since we did not reach the target yet, we conducted three workshops (one in each University). The aim of the workshops was to advertise for the project, attract, and encourage the graduates to participant in the program of the project. Same as above, the interested graduates sent there CVs, ID’s, and contact information to PFIU. The project staff reviewed the CVs, and selected the participants based on their CVs and specialties.
Following this selection process, PFIU was able to select more than 120 graduates, which we hope to provide training and services.
